EMERGENCY CHEQUE CASHING
Card members may obtain funds by cashing a Cheque
drawn against a personal overseas bank account. This transaction is
subject to limits, frequencies, restrictions and local regulations.
These funds are paid ONLY in American Express US$ Travelers Cheques and
a Travelers Cheque fee of 1% is charged. Proper identification, the Amex
Card and a Personl Cheque are required for this transaction.
All Emergency Cheque Cashing requests are subject to
authorization. Card members can in Emergency situations use counter
cheques to obtain funds.
The limits on personal cheques vary depending on the
type of card product used, while counter cheques have a limit of US$500
equivalent.
TRAVELERS CHEQUES REFUND
A Travelers Cheque Refund is reimbursement for lost or
stolen travelers cheques. Upon loss or theft of the Travelers Cheques,
customers may receive a same-day refund at our office once the incident
has been reported to the Refund Center Claim Unit at Toll-Free #1-800-221-7282 or collect #801 965 2003. This transaction is subject to the
approval of American Express, and proper identification is required,
i.e. a Passport, Drivers License or National ID.
