Lower Montane Forest, which was acquired while Tobago was connected to South America
during the Ice Age. A truly unique and enlightening experience.
A Lil' Bit of Tobago 3 hours
Visit Scarborough and the Botanical Gardens. Continue along the West coast to Plymouth
where you can visit picturesque Fort King James overlooking Great Courland Bay. Try to
unravel the mystery of the inscription on Plymouth's famous tombstone. Your journey will
also take you past scenic Mt. Irvine Bay and Golf Course as well as coconut plantations
and palm fringed beaches.
Buccoo Reef & Coral Gardens 2 hours
A delightful trip by glass-bottom boat to view the Coral Gardens and undersea world of
fabulous Buccoo Reef, reputed to be one of the natural wonders of the world, where schools
of rainbow-coloured fish and other aquatic life abound. From there your boat trip takes
you to the crystal clear waters of Tobago's 'Nylon Pool', where you stop for a short swim
in waist deep water more than half a mile from shore.
